The excitement was high today as P.1 -3 got to play with the Lego and explore the emotion of Coping during session 2 of their Beyond Bricks programme. Beyond Bricks is a programme dedicated to enhancing the emotional wellbeing of young people across Northern Ireland. Using engaging, interactive methods including LEGO-based therapy, the programme helps pupils develop emotional intelligence and regulation skills, equipping them to thrive in all areas of life.
This interactive programme will run in both classes for 6 weeks, co-facilitated by our trained staff and Beyond Bricks Associate Nadean. We are very grateful to Mindwise for facilitating our training, which will help support the emotional health and wellbeing of all our pupils and enhance the school’s commitment to this important area.
