The Eco Council had a fantastic day out today at Dungannon Recycling Centre where they explored how waste is sorted and disposed of. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the importance of recycling.
Afterwards they headed to Dungannon Park for a sensory walk, using their senses to connect with nature. The pupils had great fun making sensory potions, taking part in a scavenger hunt and going on a minibeast hunt.
To finish off a wonderful day, everyone enjoyed a hot chocolate and a trip to the park. A huge thank you to Miss Toner for organising such a fantastic and memorable day out! 🌿✨
