International day of play takes place today. This years theme is Choose Play-every day! It is a day to celebrate the power of play in supporting children reach their full potential. Here at St. Mary’s, we continue to make improvements and develop our outdoor play provision for all the children, recently adding our community bricks and developing a construction area. To celebrate this special day, P1-3 enjoyed an extended indoor and outdoor play session with the children deciding how they would like to spend their spend their day of play. Great fun was had in the sand, water, roleplay, paint, reading corner and investigating the bugs and minibeasts in our new bug hotel. Well done boys and girls!👏
