Our P4/P5 pupils led us in a very special Lent assembly this morning. They explained that Lent is a time when we get ready for Easter by thinking about how we can grow in kindness, love and faith. The children shared how people might make small sacrifices during Lent, such as giving something up, helping others more, praying or doing extra acts of kindness such as giving to charity. They reminded us that Lent is not just about giving things up, but about becoming better friends and better followers of Jesus. We are very proud of the confidence and clear speaking which our P4/P5 pupils showed while leading the assembly. Thank you also to the staff for their guidance and preparation of the pupils.
