Primary 1 and 2 have loved using the seasonal music lessons from the foundation stage music curriculum on Teach to the BEAT this term. In line with the NI curriculum, we have worked creatively with sound, sang and performed with simple instruments and listened and responded to our own and others’ music making. Having lots of fun along the way. We performed our spring song at assembly. Thank you to @ TTTB for providing such wonderful resources , we loved using Handa’s Surprise which inspired some fabulous learning opportunities helping to develop phonological awareness and creativity. P2 used ICT to write their own fact files on bees. We have also been very busy looking after the outdoor vegetable patch. Here is a snap shot of some of the activities we have been involved in. We look forward to using the programme in its entirety next year.
