We marked a very special and memorable occasion in school yesterday with an assembly for Brendan and Sharon.
We would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks to Brendan for his outstanding dedication and service as our school lollipop man. Throughout this time, Brendan has been a constant and reassuring presence at the school gates, ensuring the safety of our pupils each day, in all weathers. His commitment, reliability and care have meant so much to our entire school community. Generations of children and families have been kept safe thanks to his vigilance and kindness. We wish Brendan every happiness, good health and a long, well-deserved retirement.
We also wish to express our gratitude to Sharon for her many years of dedicated service in our school canteen. Sharon has played a vital role in the daily life of the school, providing delicious meals, a welcoming smile and care to our pupils each day. Her hard work and commitment have been greatly appreciated by staff and children alike. As she now moves on to a new role, we wish her every success and happiness in this next chapter.
We are truly grateful to both Brendan and Sharon for the invaluable contributions they have made to our school. They will both be very much missed and we thank them sincerely for all they have done.
