We have had a fun filled and busy few months in P2/3 learning all about Emperor Penguins in the Antarctic. We have brought the penguins into our literacy creating amazing fact files, learning about the features of fiction and non fiction books, even becoming authors and writing our own fictional penguin stories. In Numeracy we collected data on our favourite penguin and created a bar graph. We have also played lots of games, created penguin crafts, built igloos and got to experience how difficult it is for a penguin to balance the egg on its feet. We finished our topic off today painting our fantastic clay penguin creations.
